Unit 5 Do you wantto watch a game show? 一．語(yǔ)法部分 （一）want的用法 1. want +名詞/代詞，意為“想要......”。如： I want a book. I want it. 2. want to do sth.，意為“想要做......”。如： I want to study English. He wants to play football. 3. want sb. to do sth.，意為“想要/讓某人做......”。如： I want you to study English. My mother wants me to drink milk every day. （二）句型： 1. What do you think of......? =How do you like......?意為“你認(rèn)為......怎么樣？”，用來(lái)表示對(duì)某事/物的看法。如： What do you think of talk shows? =How do you like talk shows? 此句型中謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞隨著人稱，時(shí)態(tài)，主語(yǔ)單復(fù)數(shù)的變化而變化。如： What did he think of the soap opera yesterday? = How did he like the soap opera yesterday? 2. 答語(yǔ)： love> like > don’t mind > don’t like > can’t stand 喜愛>喜歡>不介意 >不喜歡 > 不能忍受 如： I don’t like it. He didn’t mind it. 3. 這些答語(yǔ)的詞或短語(yǔ)，如果后面要加動(dòng)詞，所加的動(dòng)詞必須要用V-ing的形式。如： I don’t mind watching TV. He can’t stand playing football. 二．詞的用法 （一）構(gòu)詞法: 某些詞詞尾加上相應(yīng)的后綴,可以構(gòu)成相對(duì)應(yīng)的形容詞，如： 1. 名詞-----形容詞：以al結(jié)尾 Education(教育)—educational(有教育意義的) Internation(國(guó)際)—international(國(guó)際的) Nation(國(guó)家，民族)—national(國(guó)家的，民族的) Profession(職業(yè))—professional(職業(yè)的，專業(yè)的) 2. 動(dòng)詞-----形容詞：以able結(jié)尾 Enjoy(享受，喜歡)—enjoyable(令人喜愛的，令人享受的) Comfort(安慰，使舒服)—comfortable(舒服的，舒適的) 3. 動(dòng)詞---形容詞，以ful結(jié)尾 Help(幫助)—helpful(有幫助的) Hope(希望)—hopeful(有希望的) Use(用處)—useful(有用的) 三．短語(yǔ)部分 1. talk show脫口秀 2. talen show才藝展示 3. soap opera電視劇 4. action movies動(dòng)作電影 5. scary movies恐怖電影 6. sports show體育節(jié)目 7. game show游戲節(jié)目 8. soccer game足球比賽 9. plan to do sth.計(jì)劃做某事 = plan on doingsth. 10. hope to do sth.希望做某事 11. expect to do sth.希望做某事 12. find out... 找出，發(fā)現(xiàn)...... 13. in class課上 14. have a discussion about...討論...... 15. follow the story跟隨故事情節(jié) 16. learn sth. from sb./ sth.從......學(xué)...... 17. on TV在電視上 18. come out出版，發(fā)行 19. in the 1930s在20世紀(jì)30年代（特別重要） 20. be ready to do sth.準(zhǔn)備好做某事 21. a pair of ears一對(duì)耳朵 22. a symbol of...... ......的象征/符號(hào) 23.
