保羅·克利(Paul Klee,1879年12月18日-1940年6月29日)是出生于瑞士的德國藝術(shù)家。他極具個(gè)人風(fēng)格的風(fēng)格受到表現(xiàn)主義、立體主義和超現(xiàn)實(shí)主義等藝術(shù)運(yùn)動(dòng)的影響?？死且晃惶焐睦L圖員，他對(duì)色彩理論進(jìn)行了多次實(shí)驗(yàn)并最終進(jìn)行了深入探索，并撰寫了大量相關(guān)文章；他的講座《形式與設(shè)計(jì)理論著作》(Schriften zur Form und Gestaltungslehre)以英文出版，名為《保羅·克利筆記本》,被認(rèn)為對(duì)現(xiàn)代藝術(shù)的重要性不亞于列奧納多·達(dá)·芬奇的《繪畫論》對(duì)文藝復(fù)興時(shí)期的重要性。他和他的同事俄羅斯畫家瓦西里·康定斯基都在德國包豪斯藝術(shù)、設(shè)計(jì)和建筑學(xué)院任教。他的作品體現(xiàn)了他冷面滑稽的幽默感、有孩子般的觀點(diǎn)、個(gè)人情緒和信仰以及音樂才能。

1933年克利在德紹的房子被搜查。納粹媒體辱罵他。5 月 1 日被杜塞爾多夫?qū)W院開除。5月初從德紹搬到杜塞爾多夫（海因里希大街 36 號(hào)）。10 月在蔚藍(lán)海岸（尼斯、圣拉斐爾、耶爾、波爾克羅、土倫）。卡恩韋勒與克利簽訂了獨(dú)家合同。12 月返回伯爾尼。

“自從我從威尼斯回來后，我就沒有像過去兩周那樣工作過。重點(diǎn)不是數(shù)量，而是完整性和由此產(chǎn)生的每天幾個(gè)小時(shí)的快樂。我再次成功地消除了對(duì)這個(gè)過程的所有懷疑。許多威脅要成為壓艙物的東西被釋放了。一切都被拋棄了。有幾幅畫明確地處理了拋棄壓艙物，相當(dāng)被動(dòng)的東西，遠(yuǎn)非早期那種激烈被動(dòng)的類型，但也升華或精煉了這種性質(zhì)。”

“現(xiàn)在一切都已經(jīng)清理干凈了。我很可能明天晚上就離開這里。然后就是圣誕節(jié)的美好日子，每個(gè)孩子的腦海里都會(huì)響起圣誕鈴聲。在過去的幾周里，我長大了一點(diǎn)。但我不想讓任何怨恨蔓延，或者只讓怨恨和幽默融為一體。這對(duì)男人來說很容易。女人在這種情況下往往會(huì)訴諸于眼淚……”
